Carla Rook founded Water Wellness Colonic Center, LLC in 2004.  She is an International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) Certified Colon Hydrotherapist.  Carla started her career as a first grade teacher before transitioning into the corporate world, working for one of the Big Five consulting firms.  It was during this time that Carla was diagnosed with a severe digestive disease.  When traditional medical treatment was not working, she turned to alternative medicine and found her path to colonics.  Colonics helped Carla so immensely, that she decided to make a career change and began her journey in colon hydrotherapy.

Carla received her training at St. John’s Academy of Natural Healing and Sciences in Maryland and her certification from I-ACT.  She received additional training and certification specific to the Angel of Water at Lifestream in Texas.  Carla also has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math from the University of Maryland, College Park.
